Description
Icebergs break off massive Breidamerkurjokull glacier, they float in a lagoon formed by the water melting from the glacier plus the sea water coming in from an outlet. The color blue due to the compression by weight above it. The more intense the blue hue is, it denotes that the further down the bottom of the glacier this ice was.The black stripes are materials that fell on the ice during volcanic eruptions. As is typical in Iceland, the clouds were very low and can be seen in the background as the move and let some of the mountains come through.

Thanks, it is absolutely one of my favorites photos. It is on its way to be printed on a large canvas to pair with another photo from Zabrinski Point in Death Valley. I think they will contrast nicely....
