Artist's Description
This spectacular view of Segovia was taken from John's Tower in the Alcazar (Castle used as Royal residence). The City of Segovia ws selected as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. The origins of the city goes back to Roman times best represented by its world famous acueduct. The city also has the 16th Century towering Gothic Cathedral, one of the last in Europe, seen in this image foreground.
